Quit Smoking and Drinking Alcoholic Beverages
In general, drinking alcoholic beverages is considered unhealthy and harmful to a person’s body. Drinking alcohol can cause dehydration. Dehydration of the cells can cause dark circles and bags under the eyes. So, it is best to avoid drinking alcoholic beverages in excess. It is fine to consume alcohol occasionally, but moderation is advised. Soft drinks, smoothies, wine, water with fruits, or flavored sparkling water are better choices for a special drink.
Smoking can also cause damage to the skin. Vitamin C, which is responsible for collagen-making, is depleted by smoking. As a result, people who smoke have more wrinkles, bigger eye bags, darker circles, and skin discoloration. Quitting smoking is one way to keep the skin (and the rest of the body) healthy and glowing. A person trying to quit smoking might experience severe nicotine withdrawal symptoms. But, the symptoms will fade after two weeks, so the patient needs a strong support system within this period.
