Rosacea
Itching, redness, and visible capillaries on the face are all symptoms of rosacea, a common skin disorder. It may also produce tiny, pus-filled bumps. These symptoms and signs can flare up from a few weeks to months. Almost anyone can contract rosacea, but it is more common in middle-aged Caucasian women.
A specific variant of rosacea is called ocular rosacea, in which the eyes are prone to irritation and may appear watery or bloodshot. The swelling and irritation can develop into an inflammatory condition. Stye from ocular rosacea frequently occurs because of the irritation brought upon by the condition.
A study explained how patients stated the appearance of a small pimple near the eyelids and the irritation it brought as if a foreign object were stuck near the eyes.
Furthermore, the condition of ocular rosacea also causes inflammation, redness, burning, and itching of the eyes. These symptoms are akin to those of a stye. The development of infections, along with the growth of bacteria, causes stye.
