Baking Soda
Baking soda is a famous cleaning tool used by millions of people to remove stains in their sinks, bathroom floors, and kitchenware. But its cleaning properties are not only limited to these; in fact, baking soda is also widely used by people to whiten their underarms, faces, and teeth. At first, people were skeptical about using baking soda in their bodies, but several studies and anecdotal evidence showed its effectiveness and safety.
Baking soda, like other toothpaste, contains low abrasive particles. Abrasive is a substance that can polish or clean surfaces, like the stubborn color and stain of the teeth. Recent studies have shown that baking soda works best when mixed with hydrogen peroxide. This mixture is proven effective in removing tartar or plaque buildup in the teeth.
To do this, mix two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide with one tablespoon of baking soda. Apply the paste to the teeth and scrub gently using a toothbrush. Leave the paste for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing with clean water. You can also use water if hydrogen peroxide is not available.
