Arimedadi Oil Pulling
Arimedadi oil is a sesame oil infused with medicinal herbs, including Arimedah and Triphala. It is also a part of the ayurvedic or traditional Hindu medicine system. It helps cure recurrent dental problems like bleeding gums, bad breath, swollen gums, mobility of teeth, and gingivitis.
Studies show that arimedadi oil is an effective alternative to commercial mouthwash. Arimedadi oil helps in controlling plaque buildup, which may lead to gingivitis. Due to its prophylactic and therapeutic benefits, arimedadi became a customary mouthwash in Ayurvedic medicine. Arimedadi oil can strengthen teeth and gums, reduce swelling, heal mouth sores, and relieve gum pain.
To make arimedadi oil, put one to two teaspoons of oil into the mouth. Swish the fat around the mouth for 20 to 30 minutes. Be cautious not to let the oil touch the back of the throat. Spit the oil after 30 minutes and rinse the mouth with water. Drink a full glass of water and proceed in the brushing process.
