10 Home Remedies For Genital Warts: The Natural Treatment List

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is known to be effective in removing warts because of its acidity. Since apple cider vinegar is a form of acetic acid, it can get rid of bacteria and viruses that promote the growth of genital warts. In theory, apple cider vinegar can make genital warts fall off by slowly burning or damaging the infected skin. In addition, the burning and painful sensation may trigger the brain to boost the immune system, combating HPV more efficiently.

Diluted apple cider vinegar can be applied directly to genital warts and the infected skin using a clean cloth, gauze, or cotton. Wait 10 to 15 minutes before moving, then wash the area with lukewarm water. The patient may notice warts turning pale or white after a few more minutes. The next day, warts may turn blackish as they “burn” because of the acid in apple cider vinegar. The process must be repeated once a day until warts fall off, usually taking two to three weeks.

However, concentrated apple cider vinegar may cause damage, inflammation, and irritation to the skin, so remember to use it in moderation.
