Skin Rashes or Blisters on Various Body Parts
Hepatitis B can also cause a skin rash or fluid-filled blisters on the hands, feet, and mouth. While these rashes are usually not life-threatening, they may indicate another condition that needs urgent treatment.
When neglected or left untreated, Hepatitis B can lead to severe complications such as liver cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer. nIt can also cause inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), which may be mild or severe. Severe pancreatitis can result in permanent scarring that blocks bile from reaching the small intestine and causing severe pain.
Rashes or blisters on the hands, feet, or mouth area that do not go away within 24 hours of contact with water like washing may indicate Hepatitis B.
