Ciclopirox
Ciclopirox topical solution is applied with routine nail cutting to treat toenail and fingernail fungus. Ciclopirox belongs to the class of drugs known as antifungals and functions by preventing nail fungus from growing.
It is a solution applied to the nails and the area immediately surrounding and beneath them. Typically, it is used once daily. Apply Ciclopirox at roughly the same time each day (usually before bed) to make it easier for you to remember.
Ciclopirox is utilized to treat nail fungus, although it might not be a permanent solution. You might not see improvement in your nails for six months or longer. Use Ciclopirox as instructed every day. Do not discontinue using the medication without first consulting your doctor.
Ciclopirox topical solution works best if you cut your nails regularly during treatment. Remove any loose nails with a nail clipper or file before starting treatment. The nails and skin under and surrounding them should only be treated with ciclopirox topical solution.
