Retrograde Ejaculation
Retrograde ejaculation happens when instead of emerging through the penis during the climax, semen enters the bladder. While retrograde ejaculation doesn’t hamper a person’s ability to reach sexual climax, it may also indicate an emerging health problem that may need immediate medical attention. The male undergoes a dry orgasm, where most of his sperm becomes deposited into his bladder.
Once the person with retrograde ejaculation urinates, the sperm mixes with the urine, making it foamy. Although it is a cause for concern, doctors say that medications are available to treat the condition. A person with retrograde ejaculation must consult a doctor because he may have an enlarged prostate which could also exacerbate the situation.
While foamy urine may only signify the presence of mis-deposited semen, those with an enlarged prostate may need medical assistance to cure the condition. Retrograde ejaculation can signal infertility problems, and the condition may or may not be reversible and can develop into erectile dysfunction. Doctors recommend taking the necessary medication to address the issue.
