Tea
While there’s no doubt that tea can stain your teeth, the likelihood of this occurring depends on a few factors. The color of your teeth and the tea color influence how noticeable staining will be, but if you’re drinking black tea, it could be hard to notice at all.
If you want to prevent staining, the best thing to do is to drink cold or warm tea instead of hot, as it’s been shown that temperature has a great deal to do with how tea stains teeth. Cold drinks are also less likely to cause erosion and abrasion on the surface of your teeth.
You can also help prevent staining by brushing your teeth after drinking tea. The easiest way to brush effectively is to use a soft-bristled toothbrush. While it might only be marginally effective on its own, using a whitening toothpaste or a whitening mouthwash can significantly reduce yellowing from tea consumption. Using both together can take down any discoloration.
