Irritability
Another common symptom that comes from anxiety disorders is general irritability. Much of that frustration is turned inwards due to the anxiety and panic attacks, but it can also be turned outward in the form of irritability if you aren’t careful. For most people who get irritable about symptoms of anxiety, it often has to do with the constant repetition of anxiety triggers. There comes a time when you grow sick and tired of the triggers, yet the most frustrating part is you still have little to no control over how your body reacts.
This irritability could potentially lead to a breakthrough, where in your annoyance, you decide to tempt fate and fight off your feelings out of frustration. On the other hand, it could possibly lead to you thinking that it might not be so bad — which could put you firmly on the road to recovery.
However, irritability can simply be a means to vent and act out due to the lack of answers concerning anxiety and triggers. It’s okay to feel irritable when constantly wrestling with anxiety symptoms.
