Hydroceles
A swelling in the scrotum, the thin sac containing the testicles, is referred to as a hydrocele. This condition arises when there is an abnormal accumulation of fluid within the body. Although it is more frequent in newborns, the illness can affect anybody with a scrotum. In most cases, the primary sign of a hydrocele is a non-painful swelling of the testicle.
Adult males who suffer from hydrocele may find that their inflated scrotum’s burden causes discomfort. The severity of the pain is often proportional to the extent of the inflammation. There are instances in which the swollen region seems smaller in the morning and grows larger later in the day.
In most cases, a hydrocele does not cause any health risks and does not impede fertility. However, it is a testicular problem that, if left untreated, can lead to several difficult issues, including infection or tumor and inguinal hernia that leads to complications.
