Pain Medication
Within a few hours of spending time under the sun’s heat, the signs and symptoms of sun poisoning will appear and be felt. The affected areas of the skin will be tender, red, and highly uncomfortable to the touch. It will be stingy when it comes in contact with water. There is also a high chance that blisters might develop.
A headache, fever, or nausea can also result from prolonged exposure to the sun. The discomfort caused by sun poisoning can often be alleviated with the appropriate treatment. To avoid further complications and other related sun sicknesses, avoiding the sun until the redness and soreness are gone is the best choice.
Furthermore, applying first aid could provide some relief from the pain caused by sunburn. Do it as soon as possible after getting too much sun, then take a pain reliever such as acetaminophen (Tylenol, Advil, and other brands) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, and other brands). Also, try a topical gel pain reliever by rubbing it on the skin.
