Lack of Physical Activity
If food intake plays a role in the likelihood of a stroke, how people prompt the body to use all those nutrients also matters. Physical inactivity is a significant factor seen in patients suffering from a stroke. A study found that a person’s risk for the disease climbs 20-25 percent higher if they stay inactive during leisure time. Therefore, doctors recommend at least moderate physical activity in their leisure time to help lower the odds of a stroke.
Everyone needs some form of physical activity to burn all the fats, keeping them from building up in the arteries. A significant load of fatty deposits in the arteries may clog and damage them, leading to a heart attack and stroke.
People should start reversing their sedentary behaviors to stay healthy and keep a looming disruption in the body’s circulation. For example, instead of watching TV, using a computer or cellphone, and playing video games for hours, they should do a simple workout or keep up with a 10,000-steps-a-day commitment. Moving the body and sweating it out helps manage health risks.
