Urinary Frequency or Urgency
Urinary frequency is the number of urinations a person has each day. Urgency is the feeling that needs to go right now, even if there’s no urine left in the bladder. Urinary frequency and urgency can be symptoms of an ovarian cyst, though it’s important to note that they are not always present. The connection between urinary frequency or urgency and the presence of ovarian cysts is that it can be a symptom of pelvic congestion.
When the ovaries are located near the bladder, they can cause this type of discomfort. If you have frequent urination or feel like you must go at all times, you should talk to a doctor about the symptoms to perform tests to determine what’s causing them.
