Fever
Fever is a sign of infection, and many different things can cause it. For example, fever is not necessarily a symptom of ovarian cysts, but it could be one. A fever will go away when the cause of the illness is gone or treated.
Fever is one of the most common symptoms associated with ovarian cysts but only occurs in roughly one-third of cases. This number varies depending on the source; some suggest that fever may be present in as few as 20 percent of cases. The presence or absence of fever can help classify the type of ovarian cysts a patient has and can also help diagnose other conditions that may be causing the patient’s symptoms.
