15 Common Causes of Middle Back Pain You Shouldn’t Ignore

Injuries from Sports

One thing about middle back pain is it is usually the least common type of back pain for most people. After all, the lower and upper back tend to be more vulnerable, especially when it comes to potential falls and injuries. That said, injuries from sports can very well lead to middle back pain depending on the fall. The fact of the matter is that injuries from sports can be pretty common due to the overall intensity. Of course, the potential for injury depends on the sport in question, and not all sports are the same. That said, there is always a potential for injury as athletes are consistently pushing themselves to the best of their abilities.

When something goes wrong, it is typically the ankle, the elbow, the shoulders, and the back that suffer. While middle back pain might be uncommon, there is a decent chance of injuring one’s back through a bad fall in sports. There are also some sports such as boxing and MMA where the odds of gaining an injury is astronomical. One could say that the point of the sport is to injure the other player.
