Anxiety/Depression
Your mental health has just as much to do with your body as the physical side, as those who suffer from anxiety and depression have increased odds of experiencing back pain. They also have increased odds of a multitude of health problems, especially due to their penchant for overeating. Those with anxiety and depression often try to chase what little dopamine they can get by eating as much as they can. Unfortunately, one reason why obese people get depressed is they aren’t happy with their image. Those who are overweight are not only at a higher risk of various health issues, but it’s also more and more challenging for them to get back into exercise and a more active lifestyle due to the host of health issues.
When you add anxiety and depression into the mix, it turns into a downward spiral in which the only way back is through the help of various professionals. It’s not a good idea to ignore depression, as it has a habit of getting much worse over time.
