Pain in the Tendons
If a person experiences pain in the tendons, this may be a symptom of inflammation. Tendons are the fibrous tissue that connects muscle to bone, and they can become inflamed when they have an infection or disease.
As mentioned, Lyme disease is known to cause joint pain as well as other symptoms such as fatigue and temperature sensitivity. If they have been experiencing these symptoms for more than two weeks and haven’t been diagnosed with Lyme disease yet, it’s essential to see a doctor immediately so that they can perform tests on the blood or spinal fluid, which may reveal evidence of the bacterial infection.
