Loss of Appetite
One of the most common symptoms of low sodium is loss of appetite. This may seem not very clear, but the body won’t be able to absorb nutrients properly without enough salt. Therefore, if a person lacks sufficient sodium intake, the body cannot absorb those nutrients and pass them through the digestive system into the bloodstream.
As such, people with low sodium levels need to consume enough food and water each day so their bodies can function properly and stay hydrated.
