10 Low Iron (Anemia) Symptoms & Early Signs – Don’t Ignore

Restless Legs

Restless leg syndrome is a medical condition wherein patients make involuntary movements, usually with the lower half of their body. Researchers claim that restless leg syndrome and iron deficiency are linked with each other. Because restless leg syndrome causes an itch or reflex life feeling to move their legs, patients with this symptom usually have difficulty falling asleep at night. Staying still throughout the day can already be a chore with restless leg syndrome, but at night, this symptom becomes even more active, leaving those who have it restless.

The reason restless leg syndrome happens in patients diagnosed with iron deficiency is still unknown. However, it was observed that patients diagnosed with all kinds of medical conditions, including iron deficiency anemia, have also been diagnosed with restless leg syndrome. However it almost seems that restless leg syndrome is a side effect of multiple other conditions.
