Nausea or Vomiting
Neurally-mediated hypotension, which can make one feel sick, suffer nausea, and even vomiting in extreme cases is one type of low blood pressure. Unlike orthostatic hypotension, which is triggered when one suddenly stands up from a sitting or lying down position, neurally mediated hypotension is trigged by standing for an extended period.
According to the American Heart Association, neurally mediated hypotension primarily affects young people. The condition happens due to a miscommunication between the heart and brain, leading to feeling sick. Aside from nausea and vomiting, its common symptoms include dizziness and fainting.
