Radiating Pain
Typical characterization for left kidney pain includes dull, constant pain. However, things can progress, and the pain could eventually radiate to other parts of the body. For example, the pain can radiate from the left kidney area to the back, belly, and groin. When the pain radiates from the back to the groin, it’s typically a sign that you’re suffering from kidney pain. A similar example is the pain from a toothache. The pain can radiate from the affected tooth to other parts of the mouth, including the jaw and side of the head.
With regard to radiating pain, it’s a good idea to let your doctor know and have a checkup. While constant pain is enough reason to have a checkup, some people wait for things to worsen. If it starts as a dull and constant ache and eventually starts radiating to other parts of the body, it’s a potential sign of a kidney infection. Of course, it’s not a good idea to self-diagnose, so ensure that you let your doctor know about any new developments.
