Difficulty Walking
Difficulty walking can be a symptom of internal shingles. Difficulty moving the legs or difficulty standing up may also be signs that they have an internal skin condition. If the symptoms include difficulty sitting down and bending over, they could point to a condition called cauda equina syndrome (CES).
This is when neural problems in the lower back connect to nerves below the waist. The most common symptom is leg or foot pain, usually after long periods of sitting (such as on long trips) or lying down flat for many hours at once (such as when sleeping).
If a person has trouble turning over in bed because of severe pain from internal shingles, this may mean that it has spread throughout much more of their body than just one part like before.
