Pain During Urination
Pain during urination can be a symptom of internal shingles. It’s also possible to have blood in the urine, called hematuria.
Pain in the lower back and groin area is another sign. If a person feels pain in the upper thigh or hip, this could indicate that they have shingles on the spine.
If they have shingles, they may also experience pain in the upper back when they urinate. This is because the virus can travel to this area as well. Shingles can cause a rash on the face or torso after spreading the virus, but this is uncommon.
