Seizures
Seizures are a symptom of internal shingles. If a person experiences seizures, they must consult a doctor immediately. Seizures can be caused by shingles and may indicate a more severe condition.
The reason why shingles cause seizures are not fully understood. However, it’s known that the virus can affect the part of the brain that controls the muscles, senses, and emotions. This can cause seizures in people with a weakened immune system.
However, seizures can also be caused by other health problems, so if someone thinks they are experiencing seizures due to shingles or another condition, it is advisable to talk to a doctor or seek medical treatment immediately.
