Low Blood Pressure
Low blood pressure is a sign of internal bleeding. If a person experiences this symptom, they may become dizzy or faint, and it’s possible that the heart could even stop beating. This is why low blood pressure is often a life-threatening condition.
A low blood pressure reading can be caused by many things, including internal bleeding (as well as external bleeding). The latter situation can result in severe injury to the body’s tissues or organs when exposed to oxygen-depleted blood flow due to leaking or ruptured vessels in the limbs; this phenomenon may also occur internally during trauma suffered inside the torso and head regions.
