Chest Pain
Chest pain can be a symptom of internal bleeding, but it’s important to remember that chest pain is also common in people without internal bleeding. Chest pain can be described as dull or sharp and is usually due to a heart attack or angina.
The chest pain in internal bleeding tends to be felt on the left side of the chest and radiates to the neck, jaw, shoulders, back, and even upper abdomen. If a person has chest pain along with shortness of breath or other symptoms like vomiting blood, they should see a doctor immediately because those are signs that there may be something seriously wrong with them, such as a pulmonary embolism.
