Alleviates Arthritis
While arthritis means the inflammation of the joints, the term describes more than a hundred conditions affecting joints and their surrounding tissues. It affects over fifty-eight million American adults, meaning one in four people has it. It’s also more common in adults over sixty-five. Those with associated conditions may experience pain, swelling, stiffness, and aching around the affected areas.
Generally, the condition is split into several categories: inflammatory arthritis, mechanical or degenerative arthritis, connective tissue disorder, infectious arthritis, metabolic arthritis, childhood arthritis, and septic arthritis. While there isn’t a single cause for the condition’s emergence, some possible triggers are injuries, abnormal metabolism, genetic inheritance, infections like Lyme disease, and dysfunctions in the immune system. More often than not, different arthritis conditions result from various factors. However, some still have no apparent cause.
Often, the treatment for these types of conditions is aimed at managing the pain, reducing joint damage, controlling function, and improving life’s quality. Although treatment options depend on what arthritis type a person experiences, it usually involves medications like analgesics and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. In addition, natural remedies like exercise and a healthy diet, physical therapy, and herbal medicines like turmeric and ginger may also help.
