Baking Soda Mask
A baking soda mask is a home remedy for wrinkles you can make at home. Baking soda acts as a gentle abrasive, taking off the dead skin on your face and giving your skin a new glow. It also has a pH of 10.5, which is ideal for the skin since it creates an environment that is neither too acidic nor too basic, making it perfect for reducing wrinkles and preventing aging.
To prepare, mix equal parts of baking soda and water. Apply it to your face with a cotton ball or a clean washcloth. The mixture will be runny, like a watery paste—it should feel cool on your face but not cold. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how thick it is—the longer you leave it on, the more abrasion there will be. Rinse off thoroughly with warm water and pat dry; if there’s still some soap residue after patting dry, rinse again with clean water and pat dry.
After rinsing off the mask, you’ll notice that your face looks brightened and slightly redder than normal. This is because of the exfoliation process that occurred while you were wearing the mask.
