Bee Propolis
Bees use poplar and cone-bearing tree buds to manufacture propolis, a material resembling resin. It is used by bees to build hives and may contain byproducts from beehives. Propolis supports the body’s defense mechanisms against germs, viruses, and fungi. It may also lessen inflammation and aid in skin repair. However, pure propolis is rarely sold on the market. Typically, it is taken out of beehives.
Bee propolis is naturally antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral due to its potent antioxidant and antimicrobial characteristics. Flavonoids, vital to a plant’s defensive mechanism, are abundant in bee propolis. Most fruits and vegetables include flavonoids and phenolics, which are responsible for the many health advantages of plant-based diets. Recent research suggests that bee propolis may help treat or prevent various illnesses.
Apart from its antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, propolis also has a healing effect. Apply one drop of this resin to the wart at night and cover it with microporous tape to benefit from propolis. In the morning, remove the covering from the wart. Then, continue applying propolis to the wart until the problem is resolved. Propolis may be safe when utilized properly. However, those with allergies to other bee products may experience allergic responses.
