Hot Compress
One common but proven to be an effective home remedy is a warm compress. It may be used for everything from relaxing tight muscles to emptying painful cysts. Just avoid using it on new injuries. Hot compress is a simple method for increasing blood flow to painful parts of the body. It greatly helps minimize the chance of sore muscles, boils, cysts, menstrual cramps, ear infections, sinus congestion, tension headache, neck stiffness, muscle injury, swelling gums, and many more. It can enhance the blood flow in the body, increasing the effect of reducing pain and maximizing the healing process.
Fill a basin halfway with water that is hot but not scorching. Wring out a towel after soaking it in hot water. Fold a towel into a square and place it on the painful spot. Hold the cloth against the skin for up to 20 minutes. Make sure it isn’t too hot before applying it to the skin.
