Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil comes from the aromatic oil extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia. This tea tree oil-yielding fragrant bush has numerous benefits in massage therapy and aromatherapy. Some of its uses include the reduction of acne, colds, and flu, muscle pains, oral hygiene, foot care, and muscle soreness.
Studies discovered that tea tree oil helped the healing of wounds brought on by bacteria and can be applied to lessen the body area with stretch marks. In addition, regular use of tea tree oil helps avoid the development of stubborn marks. Tea tree oil also aids in reducing stretch marks or even making them disappear over time. Additionally, another basic home remedy for stretch marks is carefully massaging them with a small amount of tea tree oil mixed with one-half teaspoon of olive oil. Furthermore, any oil rich with Vitamin E can be added to it. Its combination may stay on the skin during nighttime and should be rinsed off the following morning.
It is strongly advised to perform an allergy skin patch test before applying tea tree oil. In addition, those using this treatment should dilute tea tree oil with the preferred carrier oil to prevent further irritation.
