Turmeric
Turmeric is derived from the plant’s root. It includes a component called curcumin which is rich in antioxidants and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory enzymes that can block the growth of new cells and lessen unpleasant skin patches. Turmeric helps heal acne, and hyperpigmentation lightening prevents premature aging and reduces dark circles and stretch marks.
It is considered one of the less expensive solutions for treating stretch marks. To make a paste, combine turmeric powder with water, lemon juice, or coconut oil. Apply generously once or twice daily to the affected area.
It can also be used to treat pregnancy stretch marks, which happen both during and after pregnancy. Chop dried turmeric root into chunks, combine with water, and repeatedly apply the mixture on stretch marks until they are gone. Turmeric can be best paired with coconut oil. Directly apply the paste to the stretch marks and massage. After twenty minutes, rinse it off.
Lemon juice and turmeric can also be combined. Lemon or cucumber juice coupled with turmeric is excellent for treating any discoloration. Apply only to the affected areas, then wait 15 minutes before washing. The skin will regain its natural color with continued use.
