Use a Nasal Dilator
A nasal dilator is a small device inserted into the nose to help relieve snoring. It is made of plastic and has three pieces: a loop placed over the index finger, a short stem, and a ball at the end of the stem. The ball has two prongs placed against the nostrils and held in place by the loop. These prongs are slightly curved to fit snuggly against the bridge of the nose.
This allows air to pass freely through the nose, but because there are two points of contact with the nostrils, it keeps them open and prevents them from collapsing into each other. In addition, the nasal dilator prevents snoring from happening because it holds a gap between your nostrils, so they don’t touch while you sleep.
Several kinds of nasal dilators are available, but they all work in the same way. Nasal dilators can be purchased online or in any drugstore or grocery store. They can be used by anyone who snores, but they are most effective for those with narrow nasal passages.
