Raw Honey
Honey is a sugary substance produced by bees. Its primary components are glucose and fructose. According to research, honey may help heal various skin diseases because it has antibacterial characteristics. Seventy-one percent of patients with jock itch had their symptoms resolved with the addition of honey and corticosteroids. In comparison, 62 percent of patients with body ringworm had their symptoms resolved with the addition of honey and corticosteroids. When matched to the drug Miconazole, acacia honey was efficient in alleviating the redness and scaling of skin produced by ringworm of the scalp. Furthermore, honey may inhibit the growth of dangerous microbes and even reverse antibiotic resistance.
Raw organic honey’s antibacterial capabilities come from the hydrogen peroxide it contains, which is also effective against fungus. The honey’s amount of sugar also aids in the battle against microorganisms. Since a fungal infection causes ringworms, raw organic honey’s antifungal characteristics are advantageous. Honey can be matched with other organic oils in treating ringworms. Coconut oil, oregano oil, or lemongrass oil are all perfect additions for honey in eradicating ringworms in the skin and scalp.
