Garlic
Garlic’s key component, allicin, has excellent antimicrobial, immunomodulating, and anti-viral properties. Allicin is known to promote better sleeping habits and relaxation. In addition, allicin can protect the liver, kidneys, and heart from harmful bacteria and viruses. Garlic is a natural treatment for skin conditions such as scars, psoriasis, and fungal infection.
Recently, several studies explored the potential of garlic against warts. The results were impressive, but the data was insufficient. Nonetheless, garlic paste is still globally recognized as an effective and safe remedy to eliminate the plantar warts.
To use it, crush a clove of garlic and mix it with water to make a paste. Then, apply it to the wart and cover it with a clean cloth or bandage. Leave the paste for an hour or two before rinsing it with warm water. Repeat this process every day for a month. Some testimonies claim that using garlic juice or rubbing a fresh clove on the wart has the same efficacy.
