Aloe Vera
Like other succulents, aloe vera is cultivated in sunny, dry regions in most tropical countries. It has been associated with various medicinal benefits and was used for remedies and treatments, including an itchy scalp. Aloe vera is a popular ingredient in many hair and skin care products and is available on the market as aloe vera gel with a usual concentration of 95 to 99 percent.
According to research, the fatty acids in aloe vera have anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe and treat itchiness and redness in the skin. Moreover, aloe vera may help relieve irritation caused by a dry scalp because of its moisturizing content. Based on the findings of a research study, aloe vera gel effectively reduced scaliness and itching in respondents with seborrheic dermatitis. The raw gel of the aloe vera plant is the most recommended to use. This gel may be purchased at almost any drugstore or extracted from freshly trimmed leaves of the aloe vera plant. Blend two teaspoons of lemon juice and half a cup of aloe vera gel and leave it for 30 minutes. Massage the mixture into the scalp and allow it to seep into the hair follicles before washing it with warm water.
