Carom Seeds
Carom seeds are thought to treat ulcers in the stomach, intestines, and esophagus, among the body’s digestive organs. Carom seeds relieve the discomfort by helping to empty the stomach. Water with carom seeds, sometimes referred to as “oma water,” can treat the gastrointestinal issues of pregnant women and irregular periods. Patients can boil a small quantity of these roasted seeds in water, drain them, and then sip it.
Otherwise known as the Indian spice, ajwain, carom seeds are frequently used to treat digestive issues like indigestion, flatulence, and colic discomfort. In addition, carminative, antibacterial, and liver-protective qualities can be found in Carom seeds. It is also well-recognized to have bronchodilatory (airflow to the lungs) and blood pressure-lowering effects.
To treat digestive problems, chew half a teaspoon of carom seeds or drink them with water. Indigestion is frequently brought on by pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen, which may result from an improper stomach emptying. To make it, Carom seeds that have been lightly roasted can be added to a glass of warm water.
