Manage Stress
Stress and anxiety are mental conditions that can cause physical symptoms such as fatigue and dizziness. During stressful times, the brain releases hormones that directly affect the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. These hormones try to congest the blood vessels, raise the heart rate, and trigger rapid and short breathing. In addition, the said symptoms will lead to lightheadedness which will cause dizziness.
Dizziness caused by psychological distress is very rampant nowadays. An observational study shows that more than 40% of college students experience anxiety attacks daily. Students bombarded with too many stressors feel dizzy, faint, and pass out. Extreme stress is also observed in different workplaces and even at home. In short, stress and anxiety are inevitable. Calming the nerves of a dizzy person will help cure this sensation. One way to do this is by eliminating the stressors and learning ways to manage anxiety.
Always try to practice breathing exercises when tension builds up in the body. Psychologists also suggest simple activities like counting to ten, listening to music, asking for a hug, reading a book, walking away, or doing some yoga.
