14 At-Home, All-Natural Remedies For Chapped Lips

Rose and Milk

If you have a rose garden, you can concoct your home remedy for chapped lips with the addition of some milk. Create a paste by first soaking rose petals in milk and then mashing them together to form a paste. You do not have to be precise with the amounts of petals and milk to use. However, make sure that the resulting paste has a consistency that makes it easy to apply on the lips.

Rose petals contain iron, calcium, and vitamins A, C, and E, which are suitable for the skin and overall health. On the other hand, milk has vitamins B6 and B12, vitamin A, vitamin D, biotin, calcium, and other nutrients that support skin health. Milk can also hydrate and moisturize the skin.

Apply generous amounts of the rose and milk paste to your lips and let it sit for around twenty minutes. You may also massage it on the lips to remove chapped skin on the lips. Do it gently to avoid irritating or wounding your lips. After the treatment, wash or wipe the paste off and apply lip balm, petroleum jelly, or coconut oil.
