Treating Carpal Tunnel At Home: 13 Home Remedies

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that has been used to treat various conditions for over 2,000 years. In recent years, acupuncture has also been used as an effective and safe treatment modality for patients with carpal tunnel syndrome.

A study published in the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine found that acupuncture effectively relieves symptoms in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. In addition, the study found that patients who received acupuncture treatments had a significant improvement in hand function compared to those who did not receive acupuncture.

Research into the potential benefits of acupuncture for treating carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) has yielded promising results. In a 2020 study, participants who received acupuncture treatment for four weeks reported improvements in symptoms such as pain, numbness and tingling, and muscular weakness. These improvements were present three months after the treatment ended, suggesting that acupuncture may provide long-term relief from CTS symptoms. The researchers concluded that acupuncture is a safe and suitable treatment option for CTS.
