12 Home Remedies For Burning Feet: How To Get Rid Of It

Black Cumin

Black cumin, also known as Kalonji (some also call it Fennel flower or Black caraway), is commonly used as a medicinal plant in India, Middle-Eastern countries, Asia, and Egypt. It has a component called Thymoquinone that has antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory properties that help decrease swelling and reduce body pains. Black cumin seed helps cure headaches, infections, allergic rhinitis, diabetes, back pains, and liver failure. It can also help as a supplementary treatment to cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and dyslipidemia. Additionally, black cumin can also help treat other problems related to the skin, such as acne (black and white heads, pimples, and dry skin); vitiligo (skin pigmentation); psoriasis (chronic inflammation); and eczema (dry and itchy skin).

Black seed oil may be taken orally (ingested as a capsule) and topically (added to ointments, skincare products, and shampoos).

Since athlete’s foot and diabetes are two of the leading causes of burning feet, the Thymoquinone found in black cumin can help fight off the fungus in athlete’s foot and help avoid type 1 (genetic) and type 2 (acquired) diabetes.

Nonetheless, black cumin seeds must be taken moderately. A high amount of these may also lead to liver and kidney problems.
