Foot Massage and Therapy
Burning feet might be caused by poor blood circulation, nerve damage, and diabetes. A foot massage can help improve blood flow and ease the stinging and disturbing pain. It may also relax the body and muscles from extreme activity, relieves stress, helps people sleep better, and renew the lost energy throughout the day. It is performed using the hands or with sticks (hitting specific areas) and rollers (addressing the reflex zones). Massage the feet regularly and apply ointment or cream on the surface and around the feet (or any desired area). Apply enough pressure while stroking the foot back and forth. A massage therapist should also work on pressure points and focus on specific areas of the foot and joints.
Try this at home using the following steps. First, clean and wash the feet well and dry them afterward. Then, apply a good amount of ointment or lotion on the hands. Rub it all over the feet (ankle, toes, heel, and ball). Hold each foot with both hands and massage it in a circular motion. Start from the toes down to the ankles. Apply the right amount of pressure.
