Eucalyptus Tea and Oil

Eucalyptus may be used internally and externally. Eucalyptus tea (internal) and oil (external). Eucalyptus leaf is considered antimicrobial. In addition, the leaf is used to make tea, which is essential for treating inflammation and swelling of the throat. Use fresh eucalyptus leaves or buy teabags from the store.

For fresh leaves, let the leaves soak in your mug with warm water for about 10 minutes. Drink only seven or eight eucalyptus tea every day. 

For store teabags, soak the teabags or four to seven minutes. Drink this once or twice a day. Adding fresh ginger or powdered turmeric to the eucalyptus tea may also be beneficial as they are anti-inflammatory. 

Eucalyptus oil is used to treat upper respiratory conditions. It is also very effective in curing many chest problems. 

Use it as a steam inhaler by pouring it into boiling water. Take deep breaths and let the steam pass through the nasal passages (mouth and nose). This procedure relieves nasal congestion and soothes the airways perfectly.

Apply the oil to the affected areas. Always have a patch test first to ensure safety and freedom from allergic reactions. One should not directly apply the Eucalyptus oil to the skin undiluted.
