Turmeric or Ginger
Turmeric powder and ginger are both excellent sources of anti-inflammatory properties. Using both can ease the pain and stop the swelling in no time.
There are two ways to apply turmeric in treating boils: as a tonic and as a paste. To create an effective remedy, dissolve turmeric powder in hot water or milk, then let it cool for a couple of minutes before ingesting. This mixture can help relieve the pain and relax the body from stress brought by headaches and rising temperatures. Likewise, drinking turmeric tonic can help heal the boil and relax the muscles for a good night’s rest.
Another way of using turmeric as a remedy for boils is mixing it with little water (preferably warm or lukewarm) and pounded ginger. Using warm water in the mixture is essential to dissolve the powder faster and smoothly. Mix well and apply the paste directly to the boil. Repeat the process at least three times daily until the blemish heals.
