Tea Bags and Rose Water
Teas like green teas are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe the blood vessels and capillaries under the eyes. Aside from drinking a relaxing cup of tea, it can also be used as a cold compress or mask. One option is soaking a tea bag in clean water and refrigerating it for 30-60 minutes. And then, place the cold tea bags on your eyes for 10 minutes and rinse the area with warm and clean water afterward. This process can be repeated twice or thrice a day.
Rose water can also have a soothing and rejuvenating effect on damaged and tired skin. It has a mild astringent component, just like a cucumber, which is enough to act like a skin toner. Soak cotton or cloth in cold rose water and wait 10-15 minutes. Place the soaked cloth or cotton over closed eyes. After 15 minutes, wash with warm water. This procedure can be done once in the morning and once before bedtime.
