Green Tea
Many people love green tea because various studies show it is one of the world’s healthiest beverages. Green tea is rich in antioxidants that can improve brain function, lower the risk of heart disease, protection against cancer and fat loss. Furthermore, green tea contains plenty of polyphenols, the natural compounds that reduce inflammation.
Scientists found evidence that some of the green tea’s specific components positively affect arthritis. However, they still need to investigate further to know if the active ingredient concentration in one cup of tea can already relieve the arthritis symptoms.
But the general finding is that it is safe for many people to drink green tea, but people can take advantage of its benefits by consuming it without sugar.
Researchers still want to confirm which dose and form of green tea would be effective against inflammation. However, green tea’s potent antioxidants enhance its anti-inflammatory properties, and more research has already found that it helps relieve rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive autoimmune disease. It causes extreme inflammation (flares) that affects the joints but can affect other body parts, including the heart.
