Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is made by pressing unfiltered apple juice and then fermenting for a set amount of time.
Like other kinds of vinegar, it has properties with the capability to fight against different types of bacteria and fungi, according to research. This vinegar has also been noted to possess citric acid, a type of organic acid that can be used to eradicate P. acne when paired with zinc oxide. In addition, the lactic acid found in apple cider vinegar may improve the condition of acne scars.
Previous studies show that selected elements of apple cider vinegar help with acne. However, there is limited evidence that it is effective against acne. Some dermatologists even suggest avoiding apple cider vinegar because it can irritate the skin.
Combine one part apple cider vinegar and three parts water; for people with more sensitive skin, add more water. After this, proceed by cleansing the face and applying the solution with a cotton ball. Allow it to sit for about 5 to 20 seconds before rinsing with water and drying the skin. Repeat the process 1 to 2 times a day or use as needed.
