Feeling Full Soon After Eating
Satiety is the medical term for feeling full after eating. This feeling of satisfaction is felt sooner than the normal eating range. Ingestion is the typical result of satiety. The appetite is inhibited, leading to inadequate nutritional absorption in the body. This condition is believed to be a psycho-biological process due to the suppression of hunger and the prevention of meals. People with hiatal hernias may experience satiety because of the discomfort caused by the stomach bulging in the diaphragm. They may also experience difficulty in processing and dissolving solid foods.
Hiatal hernia causes the stomach to twist and squeeze. Eating a normal-sized meal will be difficult due to this condition. Persons with hiatal hernias may feel full even after eating for a short time because the stomach is not functioning well due to the hernia. A small amount of food may feel like an enormous meal. A worsening hiatal hernia may hinder digestion, affecting different bodily functions in the long run.
