Unusual Tiredness and Weakness
Fatigue is described as the constant feeling of weakness and tiredness affecting not just physical health but also a person’s mental and psychological well-being. A person may experience fatigue for several reasons change of routine, poor sleep, stressful workload, medications, extraneous activities, and relationship problems. This fatigue is normal and can be experienced by almost anyone at some point in their lives. However, if a person feels weak and overly tired without apparent reason, this may indicate an underlying health condition.
Individuals with hepatitis A also suffer from fatigue accompanied by a sudden loss of energy or interest in doing things. 60 to 70 percent of patients with hepatitis (no matter what type) experience fatigue. They may feel sleepy and tired even after an uninterrupted rest. Fatigue associated with hepatitis A may be constant, persistent, mild, or intermittent, depending on the patient’s physical well-being.
This symptom is very hard to deal with since it affects how a person functions. Some people with hepatitis A may also feel demotivated and may fall into episodes of depression and anxiety. Eating a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, and doing physical activities can help shake off fatigue.
